Short and time-effective tour to fly to and back the Gobi Desert to see its famous attractions. You will trek in the Eagle Valley, climb Khongor Sand Dunes, visit nomads, ride two-humped camels, read ancient rock drawings, and explore the former dinosaur fossil area Flaming Cliffs. Every day will be picturesque, with stunning natural formations and continuously changing landscapes while driving. Hundreds of sheep and goat herds, horses, cattle, and the Bactrian camels will be seen on the steppes. You will stay at ger camps allow you to enjoy 360° views of the steppes. Either the nights of the Gobi Desert are beautiful with countless stars. You also see the amazing sunrise and sunset in the Gobi Desert.
The far western part of Mongolia is the least traveled beautiful destination. It is home to the world's rare wild species, numerous ethnic groups, and snow-capped majestic mountains. On the way to western Mongolia, you will discover the most scenic places of the Mongolian three distinct natural zones of the arid, vast-open Gobi desert, forested mountains of the Khangai mountain range, and central Mongolian rolled hills. As the tour covers a vast territory, you also visit nomad families belonging to different ethnic groups. Their customs and tradition differ from each other, depending on where they live and which ethnic group they belong. Cultural and historical remnants are an inseparable part of the tour. The top highlights of the tour are trekking to Botanin Glacier in Altai Tavan Bogd National Park and meeting the Eagle Hunters except for the numerous attractions, scenic places, and activities along the way.

Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to the Gobi Desert, Explore Rock Drawings & Flaming Cliffs
Day 1: Fly to the Gobi Desert, Explore Rock Drawings & Flaming Cliffs
Our driver transfers you from your accommodation to the airport for a flight to Dalanzadgad. View Mongolia team will welcome you at the Dalanzadgad airport (Central town of Southgobi /Umnugobi province). The flight takes one and half-hour. You will start the countryside adventure, driving on the vast-open Gobi Desert steppe to the northern slope of Gobi Gurban Saikhan Mountain. Hike 1 km in a return way to explore the ancient rock drawings in Khavtsait Valley. Next, travel to Flaming Cliffs, where American explorer Roy Chapman Andrews found the remains of dinosaurs, including the dinosaur nest, which proved the dinosaurs laid eggs. Arrive at a ger camp on the 360° views steppe and refresh from early morning wake up. Late afternoon, you will hike through the cliffs in search of dinosaur fossils you may find and see the Gobi Desert tree grove Bayanzag. Bayanzag means “rich in saxaul trees.” This tree only grows in the Central Asian Gobi Desert. Picture of the Flaming Cliffs is the most beautiful in the evening when the sun goes down.

Your journey will continue to Khongor, the tallest solid dunes. Upon reaching Khongor, visit a nomad family, ride two-humped camels, and climb one of the dunes, depending on how much physical challenge you wish to face. If you can climb one of the tallest dunes, spread the sand northwards against the wind to find out why locals call the dunes "Singing Sand.” The Gobi Desert views are fantastic from the top of the dunes.

Today you will drive with the views of long continuing sand dunes, rugged blue mountains, and steppes heading the Zuun/East Saikhan Mountain in beautiful Gobi Gurban Saikhan Mountain National Park. The national park is one of the largest and most unique national parks. It is also the end of the Altai mountain range. There are many scenic places in the national park. Among them, Yoliin Am/Eagle Valley is accessible by vehicle. After your car parks, you will trek through the beautiful valley into the depths of the sheer rock canyon. The bottom of the canyon does not accept sunlight. Therefore, it has ice until the end of June. People always feel fascinated when they see such a lush green valley in the Gobi Desert. Bearded eagles, shy wild sheep, and ibexes are indigenous to the valley. The hiking takes 2.5 hours on the two ways.

Drive to Bayanzag, known as the Flaming
Cliffs, famous for its dinosaur fossils and discovery of dinosaur eggs.
Visit the site where explorer Roy Chapman Andrews made significant fossil discoveries.
Enjoy the colorful cliffs at sunset, which glow red in the fading light.
Note: It is illegal to remove fossils from this historic site.

Early morning drive towards Ulgii, but stop en route in Khovd Province for a hotel stay.
Enjoy the landscapes and rest after a long travel day.
Day 6: Khovd to Ulgii, White River Valley Altai

Depart from Khovd to Ulgii, located in the far western part of Mongolia.
Continue your journey into the Altai Mountains, with a stop at the White River Valley Ranger Station for an overnight camp.
• After arrive Ulgii you will depart for the day's
journey to Tavanbogd Nat'l Park, passing through ever-changing wilderness
scenery as expansive Rockey plains give way to green valleys, rugged Altai
peaks, and the stunning wilderness terrain of Tavanbogd Nat'l Park. - Drive to Shiveet Khairkhan
Sacred mountain and stop to explore numerous petroglyphs. Shiveet
Mountain, with its stunningly beautiful blue lakes, 4000 m high
snow-capped mountains, a glacier, and rich archaeological sites. The
best Petroglyphs in the area can be found on this mountain.Bayan-Ulgii’s rich archaeological
remains are a reminder of the Bronze Age civilization and the Hun and
Turkic invasions.
- The area around Sacred
Mountain is home to a large number of ibex or wild goats. There is also
a large Ovoo, a shrine of sorts that is important to the local Tuvans
and their shamanistic faith.
- On the arrival at the
campsite tonight, on the edge of the National Park boundary, you will
meet Tuvan people who will prepare pack camels to support your trek.

After breakfast, set off on the 17km horse trek towards the base camp of the snow-capped Tavan Bogd Massif. Today ride to the impressive Potanin Glacier.
You will pitch camp next to the 20km long Potanin Glacier-the biggest of the twenty glaciers in Mongolian Altai.

Trekking
downhill to the Tsagan Gol valley, Explore Tuvan Nomads and relax and after
that we will drive to Shiveet mountain about 3 hour driving we will camp around
beautiful sport.

Climb
Malchin Peak /if interests/ is the lowest of the Holy five Saints in Mongolia,/
which is on the Mongolian side of the Russian border. Most of the climb will be
on rocks, It is a non-technical climb/ English speaking guide or local Tuvan
guides will lead you when you climb/

of all Peaks. The Potanin Glacier, and sights of the area.

Enjoy the dramatic steep valley along the river that drains from the
Altai Tavanbogd Massif creating a series of beautiful lakes and waterfalls.
- Surrounded snow-capped
mountains, Khoton, Khurgan, and Dayan lakes with many pure and untouched
mountain rivers, make an impressive landscape. All are totally unspoiled
and unpolluted and are fabulous places to catch a wide variety of fish.
Area is the summer pasture of Kazakh nomads, very friendly and
hospitable people

We would horse ride
along the river, in some places through the forest. This is a beautiful spot
facing to the area
is below the snow-capped Ikh Turgen Uul Altai’s
snow-capped mountains and Turgen
Waterfall. This is going to be the last camping night
of our tour in Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. You can see mares milking, all
kinds of cattle, and enjoy being with nomads. Tonight is
our chance to sleep in a Kazakh yurt and haveKazakh delicacies including “ Kaz”/ Horse sausage/, a national dish of
‘ Besbarmak’ / a meat plate served with root vegetables and steamed flour/”
and “ koumiss” / fermented mare’s milk/ Accomodation:
