Exclusive Foxhunting Expedition in Mongolia

Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime foxhunting adventure in Mongolia! This exclusive trip blends culture, tradition, and thrilling hunts across Mongolia’s vast landscapes.

We begin with two days exploring Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s capital, before heading west to Bayan-Olgii Province, home to the Kazakh eagle hunters. Our journey starts in Tsambagarav National Park, where we will ride alongside skilled hunters, tracking prey with their magnificent golden eagles.

For one week, you’ll experience authentic eagle hunting, riding up to 30 km (18 miles) per day between nomadic ger camps. You’ll have your own Mongolian horse and tack, with opportunities for spirited racing if you’re up for the challenge! A support vehicle will accompany us daily, carrying essentials such as water, extra clothing, and lunch.

Unlike other “eagle hunting” tours, this is a true hunting experience, witnessing multiple successful hunts as eagles and hunters work in perfect harmony. The rugged landscapes—steep, rocky, and breathtakingly vast—offer an unparalleled riding adventure. This trip is not for beginner or timid riders!

The journey culminates at the Eagle Festival, where you’ll witness thrilling competitions in eagle skills, horse and camel racing, archery, and equestrian events. Explore handicraft markets, sample traditional Kazakh cuisine, and shop for handmade fur clothing and accessories. In nearby Olgii, enjoy traditional Kazakh music performances and conclude your adventure with a stay at the Makhsum Hotel.

While we provide high-end accommodations for this remote region—private gers (yurts), portable toilets, and a first-class chef—this is still an adventure. Expect unpredictable weather, basic facilities, and occasional itinerary changes. But above all, expect an unforgettable experience—one filled with stories to share for years to come.

Are you ready for the ultimate foxhunting expedition in the wilds of Mongolia?
