Tuvan throat singer Dorj Batsukh resides in Tsengel.

Since the age of 7, he has studied throat singing. 2010 saw his graduation from Tuva College of Arts and Culture. His talents are now being shared throughout the world as he sings to people. Khoomei, Sygyt, and Kargyraa are the names for throat singing in Tuva. He throat sings while playing instruments like the Igel, Tobshuur, Morin khuur, and Aman khuur. He is well-known not only in the area but also throughout Mongolia, Tuva, and festivals in France.
